    • Earned 97% of company revenue through consulting services

    • Established and grew Ethics and Design Department to implement practices for product and consulting work with a 45 million-person audience

    • Led organizational changes increasing transparency and collaborative decision-making, with slack messages going from 70% private to 10% private under three months.

    • Created governance for product lifecycle auditing, resolving over 30 product risks

    • Chaired Ethics Committee providing guidance on countless topics such as organizational structure, practices, and policies

    • Served as SME for engineering team building patent-submitted NLP AI/ML product

    • Served as both primary consultant for clients' qualitative research projects as well as manager and advisor to hired research design consultants

As the inaugural innovation designer, I led the city’s efforts to improve public services by collecting community responses and lived-experience data.

  • spearheaded the education of city staff on the value of constituent voices

  • updated OKR success metrics and evaluation to include constituent feedback

  • ran multiple projects simultaneously, including a “quality of life" project for a 150,000-person city.

    • Led analysis of government processes including 25+ interviews with Senior Staff and Department Heads uncovering opportunities for clearer accountability, roles, and responsibility structures.

    • Administered constituent surveys, user interviews, and journey mapping to identify pain points and optimize usability and lived experiences for 150,000 constituents, including quality-of-life initiatives and rental property registration.

    • Authored papers and presentations to the Mayor, Senior Staff, and Chief of Police demonstrating the negative impacts of the highly risk-averse decision-making culture on desired program outcomes.

  • The Syracuse Mayor's Office of Accountability, Performance, and Innovation stood as an internal consulting office for the city of Syracuse teams and departments. API offered data analysis, database creation, design research, and creative problem-solving to improve public service offerings.

Business Analyst

  • Society of Grownups was a FinTech lab internal to MassMutual Life Insurance. It was created in collaboration with IDEO to test the hypothesis that offering affordable education on personal finances to millennials would increase the likelihood of distant future life insurance policy purchases.

Serving as an interdisciplinary bridge between the curriculum development, design research, and certified financial planning (CFP) teams, I helped strategize the effective financial education of our client Grownups

  • Standardized CFP-written scripts for online courses

  • Created a database of, and analyzed 5000+ financial therapy notes to improve educational content
